Hate Valentine's Day As Much As I Do?

Something obnoxious about public displays of affection that makes me hate Valentine's Day. What's the point? The dumb holiday just makes you feel angry and bitter if you're alone, and if you're in a relationship, you feel obligated to do something romantic cuz if you forget, your inconsiderate ass has just ruined everything. So, again I ask: what's the point?
